Principal's Message

Welcome to the 2023-204 school year in what promises to be a year filled with opportunities and learning. I extend a very warm welcome to the new and returning students and families in our Catholic school community.

As a Catholic school leader, I am looking forward to working in partnership with you in making this a successful year for our students as church, parents, community, and school endeavour together to provide an excellent Catholic education for all our students.

Mary Immaculate’s highly dedicated staff, promotes high standards of academic excellence where the Gospel values permeate the curriculum and daily activities. We are an inclusive and collaborative learning community where all are welcome and where we support the learning of the whole child.

Our Catholic School Advisory Council is very active and supportive of school initiatives. We are blessed to have a wonderful partnership with Mary Immaculate Parish, led by Father Emmanuel Azike and Fr. Livinus Okamgba, which supports and fosters the spiritual development of our students.

Our families are informed of school activities through the “Week at a Glance” (WAAG) that is emailed to parents/guardians. We also have a Facebook page, Twitter and Instagram accounts, all of which can be accessed from the school website. So, like us on Facebook and Instagram and follow us on Twitter to keep up to date on all the exciting activities at Mary Immaculate over the school year!

Many blessings for a successful school year,
God bless!
Mrs. Carrie Girdler
